Our work within the community
At The Gray harvest, our entities become a canvas for artists, chefs, and visionaries. Together, we build something greater than ourselves—where culture, creativity, and community intersect with unity is the result.
The Headstrong Project
Three months after Nunzio’s grand reopening, we decided to become an official affiliate of The Headstrong Project. The Headstrong Project is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential PTSD treatment to our veterans, service members, and family connected to their care. We are honored to support such an important cause.
AMOUNT RAISED: $1,110
HaGal Sheli
After the horrific events of October 7th, HaGal Sheli initiated an emergency plan to combat the development of PTSD in Israeli youth, using the therapeutic tool of surfing.
We collaborated with HaGal Sheli to host an event that featured local artwork and inspirational speakers.
Keely Angel, Artist
Keely creates minimalist collages characterized by expansive white space, achieved by cutting from the margins of early to mid 20th-century magazines. The process of scouring through these magazines becomes meditative as she seeks out intriguing textures, colors, patterns, and words or phrases, allowing this flow-like state to guide the search for material and later in the composition.
Keely had opted to donate a percentage of proceeds to KYDS, a non-profit conscious youth development organization that transforms Youth, Schools and communities through holistic practices.
Keely’s pieces were for sale in The Gray Street Coffee House.
Volunteer Work
Responding to crisis, we believe that it is our responsibility to donate our time and resources to make a difference. In October 2023, The Gray Harvest team devoted 20+ hours of company time to international causes, working specifically in warehouses to ship goods.
Lindsey Falack, Still Searching Studio
Lindsey Falack, a New York-based artist, graphic designer, and photographer, draws her inspiration from a carefree lifestyle centered around surfing and travel. Using a blend of oil paint and sand, she skillfully manipulates texture to create and encourage a life encompassed by the ocean and its beauty.
We collaborated with Lindsey to showcase her art in the cafe, donating a percentage of proceeds to a charity of her choice.
Victoria Dweck, Matcha Calm
Victoria Dweck, an integrative health coach with a passion for healthy living, founded MatchaCalm in 2023. Recognizing a gap in the market for cold brew matcha, she developed a thick-bodied cold brew for matcha lovers.
MatchaCalm focuses on providing top-quality, USDA Organic-certified matcha that boasts a rich matcha flavor.

Book Donation
Books have the power to change lives, inspire new ideas, and create a positive impact in our community. We aim to contribute to the growth of literacy and provide access to valuable resources for individuals who may not have the means to acquire them otherwise. The Gray Harvest has donated 100+ books and art supplies to nearby libraries, with our value of the importance of culture and education in mind.
Night of Solidarity
The Gray Harvest, Trama’s Trattoria, and the UJA hosted an evening of solidarity and unity wherein 100% of sales were donated to orphanages, food banks, and hospitals.

We collaborated with Rachel to add her sourdough bagels and ice cream to our summer menu.

Herz Hats, started by Leo Tebele, is an apparel company that honors the ancestral ties to Israel. A percentage of proceeds are donated to Bayit Shel Benji, an organization that focuses on lone soldier mental health and care.
We collaborated with Herz Hats to sell the hats in our cafe, honoring this important cause.

Margalit Romano
Margalit Romano is a contemporary, self-taught artist based in New Jersey. Her work explores the life of color and how it transforms through different patterns and techniques. At first glance, Margalit’s work is mesmerizing and colorful, however there is much more hidden behind the surface. The linear, and often complex stripe designs are done with straight lines created through an organic process. The paint is dripped down the surface; traditional painting tools are rarely used. This organic painting process creates a very clean visual, that clients love for their spaces.
Margalit’s work is displayed throughout The Gray Street.
